The home environment is permeated by networked, wired but above all wireless devices that work in fields or "domains" of different applications: home automation, consumer electronics, mobile and fixed personal computing terminals, digital TVs. For example, the home network must allow spontaneous and open use to ensure that devices can be identified, connected and enabled to use applications when they come into contact with the network itself.
